Accelerated Piano Adventures

Accelerated Piano Adventures® for the Older Beginner features the proven, pedagogical approach set forth in the basic piano method and continues the tradition of learning music through discovery, creativity, and adventure. Book 1 of the accelerated series combines the Primer Level and Level One of the basic Piano Adventures® method.

Level 1 covers fundamental rhythms, all the notes of the grand staff, C position, G position. The Theory Book provides valuable reinforcement of theory, concepts through writing, sight reading, and ear training activities.The integration of technique and artistry gives students the tools for expressive performance. 

Level 2 covers major and minor pentascales; intervals through the 6th; C. G, and F major scales. The Theory Book provides valuable reinforcement of theory, concepts through writing, sight reading, and ear training activities.The integration of technique and artistry gives students the tools for expressive performance. Students are guided to produce a variety of pianistic motions always with the purpose of creating artistic sounds.
